The future is looking pretty bright for former Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett.

At 6-foot-5, 270 pounds, Garrett has a huge frame that when combined with his athleticism makes him one of the most fearsome pass rushers in the country.

Garrett, predicted by many to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft, said he won’t attend the event and intends to watch it from his home in Arlington, Texas.

The 21-year-old comes from a successful sports family.

His mother Audrey was an All-American track star at Hampton and his older sister, Brea, won a 2014 NCAA indoor championship in the weight throw as a junior at Texas A&M.

His older brother, Sean Williams, played college basketball at Boston College and was the 17th pick in the 2007 NBA Draft.

Garrett’s girlfriend is from his hometown of Arlington, Texas. Not much else is known about her except that the pair seem to be very much in love.

According to the ABC news, Garrett is a devoted boyfriend and enjoys sending her handwritten love letters.

The 82nd NFL Draft will be held April 27-29, 2017. For the first time since 1961, the event will take place in Philadelphia.
