Danny Amendola ethnicity
New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola has revealed his parents nationality during an interview with Patriots.com.
Are you a full-blooded Italian? asked the reporter.
“Half-and-half. My father’s Italian and my mom’s Irish,” said the 29-year-old.
“My mom and dad are both from Boston. Growing up, I visited there all the time.
My mom’s been living in Boston for the past 10, 15 years and my dad still lives in Texas”.
At the end of the interview, the reporter wants to know what Danny calls that red stuff you make with spaghetti and meatballs.
OK, with your Italian heritage, do you call it “gravy” or “sauce?”
“It’s gravy.” answers Amendola.
